The successful candidate will be joining a well-led and successful team, committed to providing a quality experience for our students and ensuring that they achieve their full potential. They will be joining an Academy and a Multi Academy Trust committed to their professional development and to supporting them to achieve the best with our young people, with the Arts playing a central role in the life of the Academy and the Trust.

Saltley Academy is a 11-16 comprehensive school in the heart of multi-cultural Birmingham. The Academy was also recently re-awarded the UNICEF Rights Respecting School Gold Award.

You will be joining a growing Arts Faculty that encompasses Drama, Music, Art and Photography. Uptake at GCSE level for these subjects has been steadily rising, requiring recruitment in September to meet the needs of the curriculum.

As a member of the Trust, the Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.
