Malmesbury School wishes to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher of Music. This post would be suitable for a highly competent NQT or a teacher with experience and a proven track record of success. The Music Department is a team of talented, supportive and innovative teachers whose passion and enthusiasm for Music ensures students excel musically in and out of lessons. The Music department has a history of successful examination outcomes, outstanding school productions and high levels of student participation in extra-curricular clubs. There is strong take up in peripatetic music lessons; a wide range of instrumental tuition is available for all our students from Year 7 to Year 11. The school has superb accommodation and the Music department occupies two dedicated specialist music classrooms and a faculty office. All classrooms have interactive whiteboards and a stereo system. Both classrooms have a full set of keyboards, a set of PCs for student exam work. This is an excellent opportunity for professional development in a very supportive and caring school.
