Teacher of Music (Maternity Cover) job summary

A well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Music is required for Maternity Cover for March 2019 to join a successful and dedicated department.

The Music department is committed to providing high quality teaching and learning for all students.
The successful applicant should be qualified to teach at KS3, GCSE and A level. Proficient keyboard skills would be advantageous. They should be enthusiastic about the teaching of music and show a willingness to participate in and contribute to the development of music in the extended curriculum.

Although standards in music are high, we are looking to appoint a colleague with the capacity and desire to contribute to increasing participation and achievement in music at both Key stage 4 and 5.

Teachers at Harlington are able to make a genuine difference to the achievement of all. This post will therefore appeal to colleagues who are able to promote high expectations within a supportive environment.
