Teacher of Music - Maternity Cover job summary
We seek to appoint an exceptional and inspirational music teacher who would rise to the challenge of teaching in a high performing Creative Faculty.
You will be an excellent and enthusiastic practitioner who is able to inspire students to engage and achieve. You will be part of a team developing your skills, enabling students to progress and to reach their goals.
The music department is responsible for delivering Music to all students at KS3, and a significant number at KS4. In the last two years, there has been a considerable uptake at GCSE Music.
The department offers an innovative environment in which to develop teaching and learning strategies and raise the standards achieved by students. The music department has one dedicated classroom, which is equipped with keyboards, computers and specialist music software and two further practice rooms.

It is situated in the centre of the beautiful county of North Yorkshire bordering the Yorkshire Dales National Park, offering a high quality of life.
