Teacher of Music - Maternity Cover job summary

The Wavell School is a High Performing School and the Music Department is recognised within the County for its high standards.

We are looking for a strong classroom practitioner who can inspire students through outstanding pedagogy. They will have excellent subject knowledge and the ability to make learning exciting and engaging, leading to examination success. The appointed person will teach both Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Music Department occupies specialist facilities and there is a strong and supportive team spirit amongst the family of Performing Arts subjects. All staff have a readiness to engage in professional development which supports a clear team ethos.

The School would welcome applications from committed and dynamic Specialist Music teachers who enjoy working within a collegial Department.
