Required for January 2023, a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to teach Music within a large and well-resourced department. Situated in a recently built area of the school, the department enjoys outstanding facilities including a suite of iMacs, practice rooms and a large workroom. A superb theatre, dance studio and drama area are located in the same block making for a performing arts hub. The school has been awarded the Artsmark Platinum Award, one of only 46 schools nationally, which is testimony to the standard of arts provision at Nunnery.

Nunnery Wood High School is oversubscribed and enjoys an excellent reputation in the region. Ofsted praised the outstanding behaviour and courtesy of our students and the respect that they showed to staff. They judged students’ “personal development” too as outstanding. Our intake is broad, from the academically gifted to students requiring nurturing in numeracy and literacy. Nunnery Wood High School is an academy in Worcester, Worcestershire, England. It is a co-educational school and a Science College with about 1500 students on roll aged from 11 to 16. In 1983 following a restructuring of schools in Worcestershire the Nunnery Wood Secondary School was renamed Nunnery Wood High School.

The school campus is located on the edge of Worcester, surrounded by some 15 acres (61,000 m2) of gardens and playing fields which it shares with the adjacent Sixth Form College. The school benefits from refurbished or purpose built extensions including facilities for Science, English, Music, Art & Design, Languages and ICT. The school’s sports centre has an all-weather outdoor pitch and athletics track.
