What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an innovative, ambitious and inspiring teacher to join our Music department from September 2023 for 2 days per week (Wednesday and Thursday). We would also consider a full-time teacher, with the ability to teach a second subject. The position would suit an experienced teacher or an ECT.
Swanmore is very proud to be in the position to offer an expanded and enhanced creative curriculum provision to both pupils and teaching professionals. Rather than narrowing the access to the Creative Arts for our pupils, we are keen to showcase the Arts as the cornerstone of our forward-thinking, high-quality curriculum provision. Our Performing Arts building provides us with first class facilities for teaching, learning and performing.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding teaching practitioner or aspire to be. Who has the ability to enthuse our pupils with a passion for the subject and encourage them to become independent learners. A willingness to participate in departmental extra-curricular activities is also essential.
We are looking for candidates who will raise attainment in the department, assisting our pupils to achieve excellence.
