Teacher of Music (Subject Lead) job summary

The role would suit a Teacher of Music who is keen to lead their own subject and develop music to be at the heart of the College.

The role requires the successful candidate:

  • to lead the subject curriculum from KS3 to KS5 to ensure excellent standards of achievement within the musical curriculum area
  • to be accountable for student progress within music
  • to ensure the provision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students within the subject area in accordance with the aims of the College
  • to oversee the College's instrumental provision and manage the team of peripatetic music teachers

The successful candidate will undertake the organisation of the whole school concerts throughout the academic year.
