The Governors of Holy Trinity School wish to appoint a Teacher of Music. This post presents a good opportunity for a newly qualified practitioner to experience working in a successful department, developing their career in a good school.
Applicants will need to demonstrate their commitment to the teaching of Music. We require practitioners who have enthusiasm, skill and ability to make a positive contribution. The successful candidates will be committed to teaching across the 11-18 range. Experience of, or the potential to teach Music at KS4 is essential and knowledge of Music Technology (RSL) at KS4, together with the Music and performance elements of the KS5 Performing Arts course is desirable, as is a second subject. Applicants will need to demonstrate their commitment to excellent teaching and learning; to securing good or better outcomes for students; to developing student potential and skills from KS3 onwards, and to promoting the study of the subject at KS5 Level.
In addition to teaching your primary and possibly a secondary subject across ages 11 to 18 there is an expectation that you may teach other subjects as directed in order to facilitate the delivery of the curriculum. Relevant support will be offered.
