Teacher of P.E.

(MPS/UPS – Full time)

If you want to work in an outstanding P.E. Department in a school that values their staff, come and look at Davenant.   We are looking for a teacher to join our school who can teach across all Key Stages, predominantly in Boy’s P. E. This position is a full time post and we require someone who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and an ambitious P.E. practitioner.  This is an exciting opportunity for either a newly qualified or more experienced teacher to work within an ambitious and supportive department in a high achieving school.  Excellent opportunities for development exist including supporting many extracurricular trips home and abroad.

Davenant achieves outstanding examination results, has a strong focus on extra-curricular provision and seeks to nurture “mind, body and spirit”.  We expect our staff to be fully committed to this ethos.

We are situated close to the M25 and central line.  We can easily be reached either from London or from the Essex/Hertfordshire countryside.

Davenant is committed to safeguarding and protecting the children and young people that we work with.  As such, all posts are subject to a safer recruitment process, including the disclosure of criminal records and vetting checks.  We ensure that we have a range of policies and procedure in place, which promote safeguarding and safer working practice across the school.

Further details of the post and the school along with application forms are available from the school website: www.davenantschool.co.uk.  A letter of application, along with an application form should be submitted to the Headteacher’s P.A., Marylyn, Greengrass: Marylyn.greengrass@davenant.org by the closing date – Monday 21 June.
