What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of both PE and Health and Social Care to join an excellent and growing team. The successful candidate must be able to deliver the Level 3 BTEC in Health and Social Care plus PE at KS3, KS4 and potentially at KS5 where the school delivers the Level 3 BTEC qualification.
In particular, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our expanding Level 3 provision based at The Oakwood Academy in conjunction with The Redhill Academy. From September 2024 we will be expanding our provision further and become one the first schools to deliver the new T Level in Education and Early Years.

The Academy is also a member of Redhill College of Leadership and Development and as such there are excellent CPD opportunities and a chance to work alongside colleagues from other high-performing schools in the region. The Trust also leads the regional Teaching School Hub, delivering local teacher training and the National Professional Qualifications for teachers.
