We are seeking to appoint a teacher of PE and Performing Arts at Jane Austen College. If you are an excellent teacher, who is passionate about both PE and Performing Arts, and excited about continuing to develop your practice, then we want to hear from you.
The successful candidate will be required to deliver a broad, balanced and inclusive curriculum for students and to support the PE curriculum area. The role holder will monitor and support overall progress and development of students and contribute to raising standards and student attainment. The ideal candidate will be able to enthuse, engage, motivate and challenge pupils to raise achievement at all levels.

Jane Austen College is an 11-19 secondary school in the heart of Norwich. In our first set of GCSE results 75% of students achieved a Grade 4+ in English and Maths, and our A-level results have been the top of all state sixth forms in Norwich for the third year in a row. We are an English specialist school, with an additional post-16 specialism in humanities and the arts. We are also partnered with the Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form – the region’s first maths and science specialist sixth form.
