What the school offers its staff
The Forest School is a highly successful, friendly and dynamic 11-16 School, committed to achieving high standards and to developing the potential of all our students and staff. It is an exciting time in the history of the school as we became co-education in September 2021, have an ever-increasing number of students joining us each year and have seen our results go from strength to strength. We are seeking a joint PE and Science teacher to join our enthusiastic teams in order to further innovate and excite students about these subjects. Our active PE department sees students involved in a varied curriculum and a range of extra-curricular activities. We are also looking forward to the realisation of plans to build our brand new dance studio and fitness suite. Our Science department has worked hard to ensure our results are the best ever achieved, with 74% of our students achieving two grade 4’s or above in the Trilogy GCSE. The school has also invested heavily in refurbishment and redesign of two new, stunning, state of the art Science rooms with a third to be completed in the summer.
