What skills and experience we're looking for

We require an enthusiastic, inspiring and ambitious PE teacher to join our team, with a passion for sport and getting our students active. You will be committed to raising the expectations and achievements of our students at both GCSE and A Level. The successful candidate will have a passion for the subject and enjoy teaching at a high level.

Our schools have all excelled in a variety of sports at county and national level. A wide range of sports is offered as part of the curriculum and we have fantastic opportunities to expand our sporting opportunities in a new school building, which comprises a new swimming pool.

Although this post is primarily to teach at Astley Community High School, you may also be required to teach at Whytrig Middle School which shares the same site or Seaton Sluice Middle School when classes travel between sites to have PE lessons and use the swimming pool. All three schools share an Executive Headteacher.
