Teacher of PE job summary

As a Teacher of PE, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Foster confidence and enthusiasm in students, ensuring all learners feel supported and challenged.

Promote participation and success in extracurricular sports and physical activities, encouraging diversity within school teams.

Work within a well-balanced team, bringing new energy and perspectives to inspire our students and staff alike.

Be a strong role model, championing the values of inclusivity, physical wellbeing, and sportsmanship.

We are looking for someone who:

Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with expertise and enthusiasm for teaching Physical Education.

Has a proven track record of delivering inclusive and engaging lessons to students of all abilities.

Demonstrates a commitment to promoting physical wellbeing and positive lifestyles for all young people.

Thrives in a collaborative team environment and values the contributions of a diverse staff group.

Is passionate, creative, and eager to play an active role in the life of the school both inside and outside the classroom.
