Teacher of PE (Maternity Cover)
Salary: Teacher Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale
Hours of work: Part Time - 0.6 FTE
We are looking to appoint a temporary Teacher of PE to join our wonderful community. We have a large and supportive PE team here, which is well resourced and part of the Meridian Trust which provides a huge subject network for professional development.
The ideal candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status and degree in specialist subject
- Experience of teaching at KS3 to KS4
- Evidence of securing high outcomes from students
- Ability to use IT to support effective teaching and learning
- Commitment to continuing professional development
- Effective form tutoring and committed to the importance of pastoral support
- Understand and be a proud advocate of the five values of all Meridian Trust schools
- Believe that students make the best progress when teaching is well planned and well delivered
