Teacher of PE (Female) - Maternity Cover job summary

Marshland High School (part of West Norfolk Academies Trust) is seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational female teacher of PE. Candidates must be willing / able to teach PE at KS3 and KS4, including BTEC, OCR and GCSE PE. This position is to cover maternity leave for a member of our PE who leaves at Easter. They will be required to cover the maternity for up to 1 year. Candidates must be willing to take part in the extensive extra-curricular activities offered within the department, including sporting fixtures. A specialism in Netball and trampolining would be advantageous but is not essential.

We are a rural school set within the stunning Norfolk countryside with around 780 students. We pride ourselves on the excellent academic progress all our students make (typically performing within the top 20% of schools nationally). All our staff comment on the uniquely supportive ‘family’ feeling there is to working at our school. You will find a respectful and caring community of learners, eager to please.

Subject enhancement training will be provided for the successful candidate where necessary.
