Teacher of PE job summary
Holyport College seeks to appoint two exceptional, and ambitious graduate teachers to their PE department from September 2021. Those who would be Newly Qualified Teachers in Sept 2021 are welcome to apply. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join a thriving, forward thinking department of highly experienced and supportive staff at one of the country’s first state day and boarding free schools. Applicants will teach all aspects of PE and Games across the school, ideally with a specialism in one of our major sports. The major sports for our boys are Rugby, Football and Cricket, and for the girls, Hockey, Netball and Cricket. Fixtures and training take place both during the week after school and on Saturdays during term time. Applicants will ideally have recent experience of teaching both A level (OCR) and GCSE (Edexcel) Physical Education. This post can provide unparalleled professional development opportunities for an experienced teacher with the capacity to develop leadership skills in the future.
