Teacher of PE job summary
Linden Lodge School is a leading provider of education for visually-impaired children and young people aged 2 - 19 years. We are constantly building and growing our provision and an opportunity to join our highly motivated and skilled team as a qualified PE Teacher has become available.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team to plan, develop and implement individual and specialist curriculum programmes for pupils with visual impairment and additional complex needs. Many of the pupils have physical disabilities.
We are looking for an outstanding PE teacher with:
• Excellent Leadership skills
• Experience of working with pupils with disabilities
• A capacity to build networks with other schools and organisations.
Experience of Teaching PE in a special school catering for a wide range of student needs would be an advantage.
