What skills and experience we're looking for
The College is looking to appointment a full time teacher of PE with the ability to also teach other subjects including Technology. The role has one and half days timetabled to deliver Primary PE as part of the Trusted Sports Alliance alongside a timetable in The Community College that covers KS3 and KS4 PE, KS3 Technology and KS3 English.
The ideal candidate will be an effective, flexible and innovative teacher, capable of inspiring students of all abilities, and able to teach at a range of key stages.
This is an exciting opportunity and would be suitable for an experienced teacher or an outstanding ECT/NQT who wants to work in a school focused on ensuring that all students achieve or exceed their potential.
What the school offers its staff
In 2023 our overall Attainment 8 score was 4.7 and a Progress 8 of +0.1. Students studying GCSE PE achieved 38% grade 5 and above and 7% grade 7 and above. The school has just started its first cohort on the Level 2 BTEC Sport course alongside the cohort completing the GCSE course.
