What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of PE to join our dedicated team. This role would involve being responsible for PE across the school and developing an offer for accreditation at KS4. As Meade Hill is a small school, there may be need to deliver other subjects, as needed. The ability or willingness to teach PSHCE would be desirable.
We are looking for:
- An experienced and energetic practitioner with the knowledge, skills and understanding of a range of teaching, learning, assessment and behaviour management strategies to make a positive impact on the progress of the pupils.
- A highly motivated, innovative person with enthusiasm and commitment.
- The proven ability to work collaboratively in a multi professional team
You will fully participate in the life of the school, assisting with extra-curricular activities and will take a lead responsibility for a subject area or cross curricular responsibility across the school. We want someone who is able to see the possibilities of all our exceptional learners and to develop a provision to allow them to thrive.

Meade Hill Schoolis a Special School for young people with social, emotional and mental health needs. We have recently expanded our provision and now have a brand-new building which has been designed to deliver our therapeutic vision.
