As the sole PE Teacher you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the curriculum in a way that maximises children’s achievement and ability to develop.

This role will be challenging but rewarding, working in a dynamic environment where you can make a real difference with like minded people that genuinely care. A role where you go home with a sense of achievement knowing that you and your team have made a difference every day to the wonderful young people that you teach.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, committed and flexible, who can easily engage with students that may be reluctant to engage in lessons due to previous life experiences.

Eaton Hall is an ‘outstanding’ residential special school. We cater for boys with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs.


We are looking for a teacher or instructor to be able to teach and be the subject lead for PE across the school. You will be joining a small teaching team and be instrumental in helping to develop the outstanding provision. Experience of working with SEMH is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will be reflective, innovative and flexible in their approaches to learning as well as being highly skilled in developing trusting relationships with SEMH pupils.

Eaton Hall is also a residential provision for pupils between Year 4 and Year 8. The multi-disciplinary team consists of Care Staff, Teachers and TAs who facilitate the school’s twin aims of re-integrating pupils into their home environment and when appropriate mainstream school.
