What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated teacher who can support the delivery of girls’ PE and PSHE.
To be successful, you will be confident in both areas of the curriculum and will demonstrate an infectious passion for your subject with specialist subject knowledge. You will be part of a wider creative team and will receive excellent support and opportunities for development within the academy and across the Trust.
You must have the ambition and dedication to continue to support the development of the curriculum and wider curriculum, which is a key feature within our academy. With an interest in pedagogical research, you will be keen to develop your teaching to reflect current practice and research that supports effective teaching. You will be able to support the promotion of excellent standards of student learning, achievement, progress, attainment and behaviour through working effectively and collaboratively. Passionate about your specialism, you will recognise the importance and impact that these areas of the curriculum have on a student’s wider life and on their ability to be responsible, moral global citizens, ready to take their place in a tolerant and diverse world, confident and well informed to articulate and engage in debate and community life. Your input will be invaluable and must aim to inspire students within all areas of the curriculum and wider academy life.
This is a maternity cover role where you will work 32.5 hours per week.
