What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will be required to teach a full girls’ PE curriculum, ideally with specialisms in football and cricket, with a passion to continue the already strong development of these two sports at our school. Experience of coaching girls' sports would be preferable but is not essential. They must be able to deliver high quality and engaging theory and practical lessons for students from KS3 through to GCSE and A Level. PE and sport are extremely popular subjects at our school, with a large uptake at KS4 and KS5.
What the school offers its staff
This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the continued success of our PE department. We have a strong, long established, reputation for the quality of our competitive teams across all sports, something we are looking to maintain and build upon moving forwards. This appointment is central to this vision. We excel at district, county and national levels, as well as supportingmany individual students competing nationally and internationally across various disciplines.
We run an extensive super-curricular programme offering opportunities for all our students and a commitment to this is an essential requirement. Whilst we are ideally looking for someone who has expertise in football and cricket, we are very happy to consider applications from individuals who have a passion for other disciplines and a track record of excellence.
