Teacher of PE job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly dynamic PE department at the start of a new phase in our journey to become world-class. We are currently in the design phase of an exciting new multi-million pound sports centre with a 4 court badminton sports hall and separate performance studio. We also benefit from extensive playing fields nestled on the edge of the Chiltern Hills.

We believe in educating the whole child and that the participation in and understanding of physical activity not only supports students’ physical health but also their mental wellbeing which ultimately gives them the best chance to succeed.

We are seeking to appoint a teacher of PE who is passionate and enthusiastic and has the highest expectations for all students. The ability to teach key stages is essential and the ability to teach English or Science to KS3 would be desirable. The successful candidate will join a well led, collaborative and forward-thinking team with a track record of good PE results at KS4 and 5 and a broad and successful extra-curricular programme.

What we can offer you:
• A strong team ethos, with caring colleagues
• High quality, bespoke training to help teachers and leaders develop their practice
• Superb students with supportive families

We are a “Good and harmonious school” (Ofsted 2017) we want to attract the best staff and invest in them, as we see them as our most valuable asset.

Applications are welcomed from well-qualified and highly motivated individuals who are keen to work with remarkable young people and dedicated staff.
