What skills and experience we're looking for
Carlton le Willows Academy are looking to appoint a Teacher of Performing Arts to join our academy in January 2025 or sooner if possible on a part time, temporary basis until 31 August 2025, to work 2 days per week (0.4).

With a consistent record of high academic attainment, Carlton le Willows remains one of the top performing schools in the area. In summer 2023 78% of pupils secured a Grade 4+ in English and Maths and 55% achieved this at grade 5+. Across the board 76% of pupils achieved grade 4+ in five or more GCSEs and our progress score was +0.2 placing us above similar schools nationally.
A level students in our high performing sixth form achieved a 100% pass rate in 2023, with the average A level grade a B minus, retaining our reputation for academic excellence post 16
