Teacher of Personal Development & Social Sciences job summary
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and motived Teacher of social sciences to join our happy and thriving faculty. The Social Sciences are delivered at GCSE and A Level, and therefore the successful applicant will have a Social Science based degree. They should be able to teach Sociology and Criminology to A Level standard and also have a willingness to teach BTEC Health and Social Care and Child Development at Key Stage 4.

Key responsibilities include:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and inspire students
- Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to support student learning
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents/carers
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the department curriculum.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status or equivalent
- A degree or professional qualification in a related subject
- Experience of teaching at secondary level
- The ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
