Teacher of Philosophy & Ethics job summary

The Philosophy and Ethics Department is part of the Humanities area within the College and the subject is popular and successful with students consistently achieving outstanding results.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced team and the persons appointed will be expected to work with the Department to help maintain and build on high achievement by enthusiastic commitment to helping students learn effectively. The successful candidates will need to have a wide interest in Theology and Philosophy and will need to adopt a broad-based and tolerant approach. You will be a strong team player and be committed to a departmental ethos based on high quality teaching, excellent examination results, shared resources, and mutual support. You will have the ability to work with students and help them develop their ideas and give high quality feedback.
