Teacher of Philosophy & Religious Studies job summary

From November 2022 we are seeking to appoint a part-time specialist in RE (key stage 3/key stage 4) who is also able to teach Philosophy to key stage 5. We are looking for a flexible and outstanding classroom practitioner who is keen to develop innovative ideas into good classroom practice.

We wish to appoint a colleague to this post who has:

  • A strong background in Religious Studies and Philosophy
  • A passion for teaching, and a track record as a highly effective classroom practitioner
  • The ability to inspire and motivate students and colleagues to achieve their best
  • Highly effective interpersonal, communication, management and leadership skills
  • A commitment to professional development
