What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors of Holy Trinity School wish to appoint a dynamic, creative and solution focused candidate to teach PE, examinable PE / Sport and PSHE. This post presents an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or established practitioner to join a very successful and vibrant department. The role will offer the successful candidate the chance to develop PE, gain experience in both GCSE and BTEC teaching and continue their development as part of an established and successful ECT or CPL programme.
Applicants will need to demonstrate their commitment and energy to the teaching of Core PE, examinable PE and PSHE. We require a practitioner who has the enthusiasm, skill and desire to make a positive contribution to this highly motivated and forward-thinking team. The successful candidate will be committed to teaching across the 11-18 range. Applicants will need to demonstrate their commitment to excellent teaching and learning; to enabling good or better outcomes for all students; to developing student potential from KS3 onwards, and to promoting the study of PE as an examinable subject.
In addition to teaching PE and REACH (PSHE) across ages 11 to 18 there is an expectation that you may teach other subjects as directed - in order to facilitate the delivery of the curriculum. Relevant support will of course be offered.
