We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring teacher with a real passion for sport and Physical Education. Whilst the school has a relentless focus on high expectations and aspirations, we are proud to provide a happy and nurturing environment, so that as well as maturing into well-rounded, confident young people, our students develop a passion for learning.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Teacher of Girls PE with an ambitious vision for the subject. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 including GCSE PE and BTEC Sport, whilst also maintaining the delivery of specialist PE lessons within our federation primary school.
There may also be the opportunity as part of this post to take on the leadership of the department, whilst working closely with the link member of SLT.
Applicants would need to teach a variety of sports and take an active role in our extremely popular extra-curricular programme, showing a clear commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for pupils of all abilities.
The successful applicant should have a record of delivering consistently good to outstanding lessons and have the ability to develop active learning strategies to challenge and inspire all of our pupils. Additionally, they should be able to contribute to, organise, develop and deliver schemes of work, which help promote engagement, excellence, and independent thought.
