Teacher of Physics job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, forward-thinking Teacher of Physics with the energy, intellectual capacity and determination to join our successful Science department and make a difference to the lives, aspirations and opportunities of our young people.

The successful candidate will also be expected to lead on the provision of Physics training and coaching for non-specialist teachers to build capacity across two academies, Brompton Academy and Chatham Grammar. We anticipate this role will develop as the trust expands over time.

The post holder will have experience of teaching Physics from KS3 up to A level and will demonstrate a history of dynamic collaboration with colleagues within their application.

All disciplines of Science are popular with our UKAT Sixth Form students and our vision is to establish the UKAT Sixth form provision within the new University Medway Medical hub, where students can gain direct academic support from University staff, as well as teachers from both academies, and open doors for students wishing to develop future careers within the health service.
