Teacher of Physics (Maternity Cover) job summary

The Northworthy Trust are inviting applications for the post of Teacher of Physics (Maternity Cover). The successful applicant will be professional, adaptable and dedicated to delivering high quality teaching with broad experience of working across a busy Physics department. They will have strong communication skills and will be able to work well within a team, yet be able to demonstrate an ability to utilise their own initiative. They will be motivated and resilient and be able to demonstrate the skills required to engage students in their learning. The post holder will play an integral part in the contribution made by the Science Department to whole school Learning and Teaching and will be involved in developing various programmes and projects to raise the profile and status of Physics throughout the school.

This is an excellent opportunity for an NQT or more experienced teacher to join this innovative department within a successful school. NQTs appointed to The Long Eaton School benefit from a full programme of NQT support and CPD throughout their Induction Year. The post holder will enjoy working in a caring and supportive environment.
