What skills and experience we're looking for
We wish to appoint a talented and inspiring Teacher of Science with a specialism in A-Level Physics to join a large, exciting and successful Science Department in our diverse and very popular school.The progress and attainment of students at GCSE are impressive and the subject is thriving at the school with a large number of A-Level classes. All science lessons are taught in well-equipped laboratories with interactive screens. We currently have 3 GCSE Triple classes and 2 A-level Physics classes with many eager learning students who want to explore the wonders of Physics. The Physics team currently consists of 5 teachers with a wealth of experience and continue to strive to build upon the successful of the department. At Mill Hill County, we are committed to developing successful students by focusing on high quality teaching, learning and assessment. Our pastoral and behaviour support systems are outstanding.

The post will provide the successful applicant with opportunities to teach science across the full age and ability range at KS3, KS4 plus both GCSE and A-level in their specialism to the most able. Admission into Year 7 is offered to children of teaching staff who have had 2 or more years’ service at MHCHS.
