We require a well-qualified teacher of Science who must be able to teach Science up to Key Stage 4 and be able to offer Physics to Key Stage 5. A potential TLR3 (£2,298 pa) opportunity as Co-ordinator of Science suited to the strengths of the candidate may be available. Details can be discussed at interview, if appropriate.

This post provides an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to work in a large and high-performing department with supportive & caring colleagues, as well as the option to be involved in a wide range of STEM and other extra-curricular activities. As part of recently completed ten-year £10m capital investment programme, our Science Department has benefited from a £1.2m refurbishment and modernisation programme, meaning that lessons are taught in light and airy state-of-the-art laboratories and classrooms.

Prince Henry’s is a popular and over-subscribed 13-18 High School with approximately 1,300 on roll including more than 330 in one of Worcestershire’s largest Sixth Forms and is a founder school within the Worcestershire Hills Trust. The school enjoys an excellent reputation locally, and consistently been judged outstanding by Ofsted, most recently in March 2024, when it was judged to be outstanding in all areas, including Sixth Form.
