What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for teaching staff to join us in September 2023.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our very successful Science Department. The UTC offers a full range of qualifications and experiences in this sector. An innovative and very hands on KS3 curriculum along with the full range of KS4 Science GCSEs, either Combined (2 GCSEs) or Separate Sciences (3 GCSEs) has meant that Science is very popular at the UTC. More than half of the cohort now opt to follow the Separate Sciences route. At KS5 students can follow A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Level 3 BTEC National qualifications in Applied Science. Our mission is to Educate, Engage and Enthuse a new generation of scientifically minded and literate young people.
The ideal candidate could come from a background related to Science. For a good quality teacher, we can provide the resources, experiences and opportunities to develop their subject expertise and craft.
