Teacher of Product Design job summary

The Role

You will be an experienced or Early Careers Teacher of Product Design who can plan, teach, and assess their specialism from KS3 to KS5. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of pupils, instilling in them a love of Product Design. The school is looking for an exceptional teacher who can create a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for all pupils of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Opportunities for more departmental responsibility may be available in the future, for an exceptional candidate. The ability to teach across the technology disciplines e.g. in food technology would be desirable but not essential.

What you will need to succeed:

You will need to exhibit a passion for Product Design and innovation, radiating creativity and enthusiasm in the classroom. You will have high expectations of yourself and the pupils, and demonstrate a flexible approach to working with other members of staff. You will be committed to improving the learning outcomes for all pupils in the school and sustaining our commitment to providing opportunities for all pupils to excel.
