At Perins School, PSHE and Citizenship are delivered under the banner of ‘Life Studies’, and students have the opportunity to study GCSE Citizenship Studies (OCR) at Key Stage 4.
Due to growing pupil numbers and the expansion of the Life Studies curriculum, we are seeking an additional teacher of PSHE and Citizenship to join the Life Studies department. Working within the Civics faculty alongside the Religious Studies, Psychology and Economics department, you will have the opportunity to help pupils gain a greater understanding of the world around them and prepare for life beyond school.
The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching PSHE to mixed ability groups of students aged 11-16 and will be able to demonstrate that they have taught PSHE in a previous school and have energy and enthusiasm for the subject.
