Teacher of Psychology job summary
Required for January 2021 or earlier
An opportunity to join a Sixth Form College rated good with outstanding features by Ofsted and included in the Sunday Times list of the top 20 Sixth Form Colleges in the UK for the last two years.
Kimberley 16-19 STEM College is seeking to recruit an inspirational teacher to join a thriving and successful A Level sixth form college. Kimberley is an ambitious, academically selective sixth form in the heart of England just outside Bedford within the Oxford-Cambridge arc.
A part-time teacher of Psychology to teach A level specification to Year 13 and Year 12 students on two-days per week. The successful applicant will work in Bedfordshire’s largest sixth form college where 120 students currently study A Level Psychology. In 2021 - 2022 we anticipate that more students will apply to study Psychology and therefore, there may be an opportunity to increase the part time proportion offered from September 2021.
This post may appeal to EITHER an experienced teacher of Psychology interested in a part-time role in a high performing sixth form college, OR equally, a newly qualified teacher keen to secure their first role. The Trust will consider offering full-time position to applicants able to teach another subject across the 13 - 19 age range with some teaching at Wootton Upper School on the remaining three days of the week.
