What skills and experience we're looking for

This part-time, permanent, post is suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs. We would welcome a teacher returning to work after a career break and will consider part time or flexible working where possible. We endeavour to utilise each teacher's specialism, and the successful candidate will be teaching A level classes in our Post 16 Centre.

We believe that every single child who joins us has the potential to be knowledgeable, articulate and successful. It is important this resonates with all candidates. Equally important is subject expertise, which is critical to support strong curriculum planning and implementation. You will have high standards for your students and you will be willing to contribute to the wider life of the school (extra-curricular activities).

Essential

  • Ability to teach Social Science to KS4 and KS5

Desirable

  • Ability to teach a variety of Social Science subjects e.g Psychology, Sociology, Criminology Health and Social Care, Child Development
