Teacher of Psychology job summary
We are
seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher of psychology to join the successful
and supportive subject area and wider Social Sciences Faculty. AQA A Level Psychology is taught at KS5 and
is a very popular option with strong results.
There are currently two groups in each of Years 12 and 13. The successful candidate will need to be an
enthusiastic, inspiring and motivating teacher who can demonstrate excellent
subject knowledge and will ensure students have high aspirations and achieve
their best. The postholder will have
significant influence in the development of the psychology curriculum,
potentially exploring its place within Key Stage 4 in the future, meaning the
role would suit an experienced teacher or an ambitious and skilled new
teacher. Both full time and part time
applications will be considered.
We have a
strong commitment to continuous professional development and teacher work-life
balance.
