What skills and experience we're looking for
We seek to appoint a teacher of Psychology for the Summer Term only, from April 2023, either full-time or part-time. (There may also be a vacancy for a full time, permanent post for September 2023.) The successful candidate would join a highly-successful department in a selective school that was rated by Ofsted as outstanding in October 2022. This is an opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive environment which encourages professional development. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs.
Psychology is a popular subject: usually four GCSE groups at KS4 and four teaching groups at KS5 within the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. If you teach A level Psychology you will soon be at home teaching the IB. The successful candidate will have the ability to inspire students of Psychology at all levels; we are looking for a well-motivated teacher, who is passionate about teaching Psychology, to work alongside the Head of Department.
