Teacher of Religious Education (Maternity Cover)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed RE teacher to join our high achieving and over subscribed 11 - 16 community school. Romsey School is a wonderful place to work and to learn. The successful candidates will join our highly effective Humanities faculty and work and develop within our enthusiastic RE/Sociology team to teach all age ranges. We are dedicated to enhancing young peoples’ lives and we aim to provide a world class education through developing our pupils’ Habits of Mind. We are proud that the school has featured towards the top of the Hampshire league tables for value added results over recent years and we have been recognised for our work with vulnerable pupils by winning the Regional Pupil Premium Award.

We welcome applications from NQTs. The ability to teach sociology or another humanity subject would be advantageous. We offer an excellent NQT programme and we ensure that all members of staff experience an interesting Professional Learning programme which is grounded in research.
