Ofsted also identified “a culture of academic excellence” which is consistently reflected in the school’s GCSE results.

There is a strong culture of teaching and learning in the school and staff value highly the continuing professional development and research opportunities available in school. Ofsted praised the “good opportunities for staff to develop professionally” and commented that “staff are highly positive about the training they receive.” In addition, they reported that “newly qualified teachers speak effusively about the support they receive.”
