What skills and experience we're looking for
From September 2024, we require an experienced Reception or KS1 teacher. Qualities in our ideal candidate:
- A qualified primary teacher with experience of teaching in Early Years or Key Stage 1.
- Someone who has strong embedded knowledge of the Early Years Framework and Primary National Curriculum.
- A teacher who has high expectations of themselves and of children’s achievements and behaviour.
- Someone who puts the children at the heart of all that they do.
- An effective communicator.
- An inspirational teacher who can innovate and adapt learning to suit the varied needs of individuals.
- A team player who can work collaboratively with staff to support all aspects of school improvement.
- A teacher who can build effective meaningful relationships with families and our community.
- A teacher who is focused on excellence for all.
- An enthusiastic teacher who will embrace our school’s vision in all aspects of their work to aspire, flourish and love.
