Teacher of Religious Education job summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Religious Education teacher who is passionate about their subject and able to make a positive contribution to the learning experiences of our students.  Geography, History and RE are very popular subjects at Oakmoor with an excellent track record of success. The Department is well resourced and is staffed by four full time members. Humanities teaching is a team effort with many opportunities to share resources, observe and learn from others.

Our aim is that every student gains enjoyment from their study of Religious Education. The lessons we teach are dynamic, varied and interesting, with all students being challenged in a supportive environment. Teachers individualise their own lessons within the curriculum strand being taught.
Applications from Newly Qualified Teachers or experienced teachers are encouraged.  We are looking for someone who has excellent subject knowledge and strong teaching skills.

As part of the University of Chichester Multi-Academy Trust you will have access to additional opportunities and benefits.  You will find that each academy has a unique identity, but a shared belief in creating a positive and enriching environment, where all staff feel valued.
