TEACHER OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION job summary
The Governors are looking for a committed and inspirational full time teacher to join our Religious Education Department. As a Church of England High School, Religious Education occupies a central role in our curriculum, allowing students to engage with and grow in their understanding of the Christian faith, as well as of the other faiths which our students will encounter in modern Britain. If you are appointed you will join us at an exciting time for the school. We had a successful Ofsted inspection in 2018 and our reputation in the local area means that we are increasingly oversubscribed.
This is a new post which will increase the number of specialist Religious Education teachers at Saint Aidan’s.
The successful candidate will be joining a highly capable and experienced team in Religious Education and in the Humanities Faculty and will be able to grow professionally in a supportive environment. The new teacher will teach RE at Key Stage 3 and at GCSE Level. Applications are equally welcome from newly qualified and experienced teachers.
