What skills and experience we're looking for
The Brian Clarke CE Academy is looking to appoint an exceptional teacher with the ability to teach RS at Key Stage 3 and 4.
The school opened with a founding team of staff in September 2022 to 240 young people and will continue to grow annually to a pupil body of 1200. We now have Years 7, 8 and 9 and are currently developing our KS4 provision.
This post at a new school is the opportunity that education professionals dream about, being part of a talented and committed staff that is growing a school from Year 7 up; supporting the development of its ethos and embedding that in the community of the school; having the benefit of a brand new building with all the facilities and supported by a local, successful and experienced Trust. Exemplary behaviour and a distinctive ethos based on our strongly held values will create a climate for learning where teachers are supported to deliver exceptional lessons and where pupils flourish. Religious Studies is part of the core curriculum at Brian Clarke and all students study it up to and including at GCSE.
What the school offers its staff
In brief we are looking for:
- A teacher committed to ambition, excellence and community who will work with staff across the school to drive the growth and development of the Brian Clarke CE Academy to become an outstanding provider for young people.
- An inspiring informed educationalist with a clear understanding of what makes outstanding educational provision for all in their subject domain.
- Someone who will go the extra mile for pupils, not because they are asked to, but because they want to. Someone who will do their utmost to ensure that all of our pupils progress to the future destinations of their choice.
- Someone who will inspire pupils and the staff they work with and build strong relationships with our parents, carers and community partners.
We are recruiting to add to our founding group of exceptional staff in order to achieve our vision and work together to create a genuinely outstanding school. As a teacher of RS you will help shape our provision in this area.
