What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors are seeking to appoint a well-qualified Teacher of Religious Studies. We have extremely high expectations of our students and staff and offer excellent training and professional development opportunities. This position would be ideal for either someone looking to broaden their experience or an NQT teacher.
The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post,will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK. The Joseph Whitaker School is a popular oversubscribed school of 1380 students with attainment levels above the national average at both GCSE and post 16. The Joseph Whitaker School is a popular 11-18 school, in Rainworth, a village just outside of Mansfield. It serves the three local villages of Blidworth, Rainworth and Ravenshead and has around 1300 students.
The Governors are seeking to appoint a well-qualified Key Stage 5 Teacher of Criminology, ideally with experience of teaching Psychology and/or Sociology A-level.
