About the role:

Are you an enthusiastic religious studies/sociology specialist who is committed to high achievement for all?

Would you like to be part of a creative and forward-looking Philosophy, Religion and Ethics/Citizenship faculty with a track record of outstanding teaching and learning?

We are looking for an outstanding religious studies specialist with a commitment to continuing professional development to join our Philosophy, Religion and Ethics/Citizenship faculty. This post is suitable for either a career entry teacher or a more experienced practitioner.

The successful candidate would be required to teach Religious Studies and Sociology up to and including G.C.S.E. A level teaching will also be available. A level Sociology results were in the top 20% of all schools nationally in 2023.

The faculty has a strong team ethos, is well resourced and is highly organised. Staff are based in rooms adjacent to each other in the Old School Quad, each one having a smart screen which is wireless networked.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and is not suitable for anyone who has been barred in any way from working with children.
